Terms of Service
Purchee is in private preview. These working terms describe how the early-access product is being made available. A full Terms of Service is being finalised before public launch.
Who provides Purchee
Purchee is built and operated from Melbourne, Australia. The legal entity behind the product is in the process of being incorporated. Once incorporated, the entity name, ACN and registered address will be published here.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms removes or limits any consumer guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law (Competition and Consumer Act 2010, Schedule 2). Where any clause conflicts with those guarantees, the guarantees prevail.
Use of the service
- Purchee is offered "as is" during private preview. Features, pricing and policies may change.
- You agree not to use Purchee to commit fraud, infringe other people's rights, or breach any applicable law.
- You can cancel and delete your account at any time. Data deletion follows the schedule in our Privacy Policy.
Receipts and retailer relationships
- Receipts delivered through Purchee come from participating retailers (Purchee-connected retailers). For purchases at retailers not yet connected to Purchee, receipts do not appear automatically — you can upload them manually.
- A receipt in Purchee is a record of a transaction, not a contract. Disputes, returns and warranty claims continue to be between you and the retailer, subject to their policies and your statutory rights under Australian Consumer Law.
- Where Purchee offers returns or warranty look-ups, those are convenience tools — they do not change the underlying retailer policy or your statutory rights.
Pricing
The everyday Purchee wallet is free. Optional paid tiers (Purchee Plus, Purchee Pro) are being finalised through the research-preview programme. Final pricing will be published before any paid tier is offered.
What Purchee does not do
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers.
- We do not provide financial advice, tax advice, or legal advice. Tools like the tax-export feature help you organise records — they are not a substitute for an accountant.
- We are not a payment processor. Payments continue to go through your card, wallet or bank.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law — and subject to the consumer guarantees referred to above — Purchee's liability for any loss arising out of the use of the service in private preview is limited to the resupply of the service or the equivalent value paid (if any).
Changes
These working terms may be updated as the product matures. Material changes will be flagged on the Purchee site and, where relevant, sent to your registered email or phone.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
